MEMBERS OF THE NEW AFRICA COMMISSION SHARE THEIR VIEWS
The newly established Africa Commission on Effective Development Cooperation will have its first meeting in Copenhagen. The Commission brings together key stakeholders including heads of states and governments, representatives from international organizations, academia and the business world. The majority of the members are from Africa.
WITH SHORT NOTICE we have been given the opportunity to host a debate about the future challenges of Africa. This will take place in connection with the first meeting of the Africa Commission on the 16th of April in Copenhagen.
Members of the Commission will make short presentations, which will be followed by a general debate.
Among the questions to be discussed are: What are the challenges facing Africa in regard to youth and employment? And what prospects are there in regard to women's role in development, climate change, economic growth and education?
